| Legislative Update In April, 2007, the Oregon Senate Committee on Business, Transportation and Workforce considered potential legislation that would have removed tenancy-in-common (TIC) or other undivided real estate from the definition of “security” from property ownership and investment purposes. This would have potentially ended TIC investment strategies in Oregon The Tenant-in-Common Association and Robert Smith joined forces to testify against the legislation. The bill died in committee.
